Winston! Totally handsome 12 year old duder.
Winston’s left upper canine is broken at the tip - it’s hard to know on the outside if this tooth is still healthy.
On xray we can see the root of the canine has become moth eaten and resorbed - this tooth is very unhealthy and requires extraction.
After extraction, the area is sutured to prevent dry socket and speed healing.
On Winston’s right side he had another red, inflamed, resorbing tooth. Ouch!
Winston will feel much, much better with those painful teeth gone.
Winston did not seem to have a care in the world….except for being angry that he missed breakfast!
